1968 Dodge Dart GT Sleeping Beauty?

-
I have had a lot of different cars. The Dart and my Falcon resonates more with people than what would be considered your standard Chevelle or old street rod. Many stories how they fit into their lives.
I have two other cars that should be finished this year. One is a clown car. The other I hope will wow. My brother drove the Dart to Starbucks. When we parked it, he commented, you always wanted a Dart.

Last week I went about 45 minutes each way to a small show. I had a chance to take some pictures in the park before the temperatures became unbearable. On the way home I felt a little stumbled at speed.

what size tires /rims ...
they didn't want to hit the front fenders

i was about to say looking at the pics the front tyres look bigger than the rears then read they're all the same. imo it needs a little less sidewall height on the front (especially if they touch) or more on the rear. if you already have a 'slight rub on tight turns' it's only a matter of time before conditions arise where the arch lip will be pulled/pushed out of shape. that would be such a shame on such a pretty car.
neil.

Perfect on the rear. Slight rub on a tight turn. So far no real issue. It is nice to have all four tires and rims the same.
Im running 215 70 15 on the front
Think 15 ×6 and 245 60 15 thinking 15x7
Need to roll my rear quarters they will rub on hard bumps or when loaded
225 70s hit the front edge so did the 215s
But my car is a little jacked in the front
Yours has a better stance ....

The tires on the drivers front rub on the inside of tire towards the frame. It does not touch any wheel lips front or rear. I wanted to avoid staggering the tires front to rear. How it looks is what I wanted.

Mine was hitting the front lower corner of the front fender 1/4 way threw the turn

First oil change. I have a lifter that I was hoping to clear up, but I think it is going into the shop. I added Liqui Moly and no changes so far.

I ran the exhaust and dumped it just before the axle. I was told it will make a mess blowing out. We did a slight twist and out to the side. It has worked out without any issues.
