****I really want to sell this car to an FABO member and NOT have to deal with selling it on ebay so I will drop the price down to $9650!! It and original 383 4 speed car with one of the most SOLID bodies you will find. Why buy a rusted hulk that needs $5K-$7$ woth of sheetmetal work when you can be way ahead of the game here and it would be a very easy project to finish. Help me out so I don't have to deal with the EBAG crowd!***

Well I am finally going to let go of this one as I had a 500 inch motor ready to set in it but have
decided to stick that in my challenger instead and let someone put this one back to a 383. It is a true
Big Block car LS23H8B249***. Body #'s match on the car also and there is a fender tag, it has some
corrosion from a battery issue as it was taken off and store in a spot it should not have been! But it
is original and all readable. It is a non PS, manual drum brake car. 8 3/4 rear with 3.23 sure grip, 5.5
inch wide BB steel rims. There is no buildsheet but I have not taken the dash out but that would be a
long shot. Car has current Nebr title in my name and is registered.
It is a true 4 speed car and it is a rock solid body. I got the car in this condition and the body is
solid. It had a trunk pan replaced in it and a patch in the drivers floor pan back in 1985 when it was
redone and then never put back together. Yes this car has sat for 26 years and never has been put back
together! I has just sat in a garage waiting. The paint is not show quality, good for a driver but it
shows its age and has a few runs in the clearcoat. There is a small impression in the back passenger
quarter that should pop out, the car was a black vinyl top black stripe car. It has some pimples where
the top was removed and not sanded well enough. I was going to have my body shop just block sand the car
down and reshot it to make it a NICE car but they are just taking so darn long I just said screw it and
I want to do my challenger instead.
There is no motor or trans! You get what you see in the pics but I will also toss in bumpers, front
buckets and rear seat that will be rebuildable pieces. Once again it is not a perfect show car. I know
the pics look very very good but the paint up close shows its imperfections. Still a GREAT starting
point for a car that will need NO sheetmetal work and is a true BB dart. You have no expensive sheetmetal work and a BB auto car sold on here for almost $8K that had an easy $5000 in sheetmetal work and was also a non-#'s car. Car located in Nebr. Have a few more pics of it just pm me. Mike

can't believe this thing is not gone. this is the ultimate a body taking away the 68 hemi cars , rather have this than a 440 auto car

Looks good. I don't want to hijack, but this car appears to have had a console. I thought I read here that 4 speeds didn't have consoles? I was told by some one they did though. So is this so and if it is, is it a rare option?

Consoles were available with 4-speed from 67-69. They are relatively rare and the parts are expensive. Nice car, but why oh why can't people remove everything in the engine bay before painting?

HI

Hello,
I will gladly show it to anyone that would like to see it in person. I have listed the car on ebay though so you should hurry as it is up and has 6 days until it closes. Thanks

Anyone interested in any trades? I am open to what you might have, pm me and let me know as I am just tired of this one and want to move it along.
