Nice. but those published 284 and 268 are not the same as today's true duration. A 268 in today's cam is usually about .226 @ .050 the old mopar 268 was about .214 @
.050

All depends on what your definition of "is is," LOL All in the way it's measured. That's "true duration" in the way that cam was measured by Ma

i am just finishing my 340 68 formula s 4 speed fastback and am starting on the engine build. i want the original cam for this car but i can't find one with the exact specs as what was used in 1968. do any of you guys know where this cam can be found? i did locate a custom engine builder in CA that said they could produce this cam for $500.

any information would be greatly appreciated.

Call Oregon Cam Grinders, give them the specs.A good flat tappet, not even 125.

Mine came from Camcraft in Elithabethon, Tenn. They did the original MOPAR special cams and had the specs and master for the 2899205 cam.

Do you have a contact phone number or email for Camcraft?

The Camcraft I found on-line is located in Arden, NC, not Elizabethon, Tenn. Is this the same company?

I'm thinking about the '68 4 speed cam too, and would like to contact them for availablity and pricing.

Haha, busy. I've been skulking but not posting a lot. Starting to get my Mopar itch back...
