I know it is only six cylinders but pulled the motor 15 years ago, forgot how to wire under the hood.

Most of it only hooks up one way. Find the alternator wire. Biggest black wire in the harness with a 1/4" ring terminal. That will force the harness to "lay out" so that other stuff makes sense

Refer to a diagram for wire colors. You can download service manuals and wiring diagrams at MyMopar

Coil PLUS wire is a dark blue with a ring terminal

Temp gauge sender wire is a single connector VIOLET

Oil pressure sender is a single wire GRAY

Voltage regulator is a dark blue "push on" connector and a ring terminal wire dark green. The other end of that dark green is a single "push on" hooks to the alternator field terminal

Ballast resistor is two push on terminals. Both have two wires junction to them. One end is dark blue and brown, the other end is dark blue and dark blue

Me too. I just put my rebuilt 225 back into the 64 Valiant convertible yesterday.
Because I wanted a /6 and a Valiant. Shrugs.
