This is a original 340 engine. The engine is being sold as a core. It appears that it burned a valve and that's why it was pulled out. The casting date on the block is 11-18-1969. The heads are "J" heads with casting dates of November of 69. The crank has the provision for a pilot bushing, meaning that it had a 4speed attached to it. The bore is a standard bore.
The engine is being sold as is. I have told you everything that I know about the engine. I have not had it off the stand that it is sitting on.
I am asking $1700 obo. The engine is located outside of Detroit. I can ship the engine at the buyers expense.
I also have two 440s in the same condition, a 1972 and a 1976. Along with other misc parts.
