1969 Plymouth Barracuda fastback
Phoenix, AZ. $24k

I’ve owned this car for a little over 4 years, looking to sell so I can get something to fit the whole family.

Amateur restoration completed by previous owner (PO). Paint is in fine condition, would rate it a 7 or 8 out if 10.

1967 hood and grill, no fender tag. PO claimed to have lost the fender tag during restoration.

Originally a 318 car, now has a 340.

Holley carb
Weiand Intake
Iron ‘X’ heads
Electric fuel pump
Aluminum radiator
Electric fan
A833 iron 4spd from passion performance
Hurst shifter
McLeod StreetPro clutch
Chrysler 8 3/4 3.23 suregrip
Manual brakes, disc front drum rear
Power steering
Aftermarket AC from Vintage Air
American autowire classic update wiring kit
Billet MSD distributor
Holley 8k tach with shift light
PO installed a hideous aftermarket radio, believe me when I say a hole in the dash is better looking.
Some minor paint issues but nothing serious.
Chip in paint on left rear, top of quarter panel
Scratch on passenger door
Right rear wheel is scuffed.
Overall the car is in terrific shape for being regularly driven. Rust free and solid all around. I run ethanol free gasoline and take it out at least twice a month. I’ll be at Good Guys in Scottsdale on the 17th and 18th.

what's that front seat out of? it looks sharp!

do you have any detailed pics of that splitter.

very sharp looking car and the price reflects that. you might want to update your ad title though; that's not a 69, at least most of the sheet metal isn't.

it's a '69 if the title says it is.

I’ll post a whole mess of pics Friday, when I can get it out into the sun. Vin for everyone questioning the year. Car was assembled by previous owner, couldn’t tell ya where the seat’s from, I’m sure another a-body.

I wasn't trying to step on your sale or anything, to be clear. just wanted to point out that the other corresponding parts weren't '69 in case you or somebody else didn't know.

really good looking car with some great parts. I'm sure you won't have a problem moving it!

The '67 nose of the car is explained in the ad. Since the doors are 69, I'd expect more than half of the back of car is 69 real-estate. That and the vin, rad support and title more than technically, but legally a '69.

think there was a ninja edit, or my coffee had yet to kick in-- didn't catch that the nose was 67 on the 1st go around.

cool car none the less

Thats a A Body seat, you had more than a bench option, since it's a 2 door you have to have a split bench, they came the way you see and they also came in a high back version where the headrest is not removable.
Some had the arm rest, some didn't, as best as I can remember from 1967...(and I know someone out there remembers better than me so have at it)...thats my 2 cents!!!

'69 Barracuda's came standard with bench seats and fold down rear seat was an option in '69 too unlike the prior years when it was standard.

If it has a fender tag that would tell you what kind of seats it originally had.

340 X heads, 4 spd, 323 sure grip, and AC I like it! GLWS

'69 Barracuda's never had a high back seat. They had two different types of bench seats and/or buckets. That one looks original to the car.

No fender tag.

Looks like one of the best deals I've seen on here. Beats the crap out of a rusted and busted piece of crap for 12.5k.

I saw the car in person. Looks and shows very nice! :)
If someone on here would have bought my "un-rusted" '69 Dart Custom with a 440/727, then I would own this car!

Sitting in my garage. 5800Tim340 is a great guy and gave me a jack and other items to make sure I made the trip back to Colorado. The car is awesome, I am thrilled with my purchase!
How does it feel shifting the 4 spd hearing that 340 rumble? Just curious? And get ready to turn a lot of heads when you go out for a drive thats a nice car. Congrats.
