1969 dart custom dash board

Can anyone tell me what the red light is on the far left of the dashboard on a 1969 dart custom/ slant 6? It's left of the temp gage and it's a rectangle.

Brake Light

Emergency brake light.
Illuminates when E brake is engaged or if you loose pressure.

There is a switch on the e brake bar under the dash it is essentially a door plunger switch.

And as noted the brake switch in the dist block

Could be as simple as an adjustment.
