1969 Dart Swinger 340 or GTS with hood pins

In the 80's I had a V2 69 Swinger 340 that had hood pins, never gave it much thought until years later... Were they added or were they original to the car?

Does anyone here have a 69 Dart with J45 on the fender tag or build sheet?

If you do... can you post pictures of the location of the pin on the inner fender and the top and bottom of the hood for bezel location?

On factory fenders there are indents on the fenders where the hood pins locate. Check the pictures on the GTS Registry.

My duster actually has one fender with cut outs for the hood pins, and one without cutouts
Always wondered if this was a factory "use what you got on hand" deal or a collision repair, later in life
