1969 Dart swinger roller powertrain options .

Hi guys I have a 69 swinger roller was a 318 automatic , that I’d like to build / start gathering parts for , was wondering what the best power plant options are , would kind of like to keep a reasonable budget , car would be a Sunday cruiser. Would like to convert it over to a 4spd as well . Big block vs small, etc thanks in advance .

SBM then,
any size;
probably Magnum 5.2, to add a bit of bruising to the cruising

Since we're practically neighbors, I think I could scare up a complete 4-gear set-up less the floor hump.
And if you like, an SBM core, LA, any size. Maybe even a running teener.

i guess I should conform I kinda wanna be able to drive it hard , I’ve got an all original 69 bee that I should stop abusing . Wanna build a streetable car and I can have some fun with , big block or hopped up small block would do the struck , or a hell crate ... haha not in the budget currently .
