I'm getting ready to convert my 69' Dart from column shift to console shift (auto trans).
I have all the shift linkage (I think) from the floor shifter to the trans except one bracket that holds the torque shaft. Do they sell the bracket that bolts onto the trans that holds the shaft?
Thanks.

Some column shift cars do not have the provisions for bolting that on.... may wanna check. That's when I made another...

Really? So with some automatic transmissions they don’t have the place to bolt on the bracket?
So that would mean that column shift cars have different transmissions then console shift cars?

Truck and van trannies have a different tail shaft housing. As long as there is 2 tabs on the extension housing your good to go. Kim
Thanks Kim! The Trans in my car is outta a van. That's why I had to fab one for my 66 Sat, after removing the factory 904. That van Trans has one quick, short, 1st gear though! Unintentional..but It had been hanging around w/ the Extended Mopar " Family " for years here.
