1969 Dodge Dart GTS

Rear seats are done. I am waiting on the front buckets. I bought a set from a guy on here and they were really nice but they turned out to be 67 not 68's like he said. So none of my new foams or vinyl would fit. kybatman is hooking me up a deal for his 69 seats for my old bumpers. So once those are here the seats will be done. Thanks belmateo!

The windshield is out and the vinyl top is coming off. My friend Tach is digging in to a lot of things we weren't going to do. We decided to do it once and do it right. I figure if it is going to get done it will be done right. Pretty excited. Hopefully I don't go broke. Check out the front rollers he made. Awesome.

I have been waiting for this to come for 2 months while they custom made it. Super nice aluminum radiator replica. Very happy with it.

Here is my pile of parts. All new gaskets and trim. A gallon of POR-15 in white for the floors, firewall and inner doors etc. GTS stripe in glossy black. I got a nice set of 69 hood inserts not sure if they are NOS but I think they might be. Really cool pieces. New amp and speakers to do a amp to iPhone set up that is hidden. It is going to be sweet.

I also got some x heads off a guy on here. They were shaved 10 on the intake side. He didn't mention that. Do I need to match my intake or will it be fine?

I'm not sure about this one. At first I was going to say that you would have to mill a little off of each side of the intake, but you may be able to get away with a thicker/thinner gasket. I would go ahead and test fit everything and see if it lines up. Also you'll definitely want to check piston to valve clearance after you have the heads attached.

POR-15 today. It already had the black POR-15 but needed white. Should be good for another 40 years. Image Body Shop is doing my paint and body work but they're not ready yet. Soon hopefully it will be in paint.

Those white floors and trunk are quite the teaser for how its going to look painted!!

I'm intrigued by your stereo set up. Can you explain it in detail? Do you just connect your ipod/mp3/phone to the amp and use it that way? What else is needed?

Yeah it is nice to see it shiny. With the stereo I am mounting a 400 watt amp under the package tray to two 6x9's in the package tray. Then I am running rca's to this I streamer 12v. This converts and controls sound out your iPhone, iPod or iPad. Plus it will charge your devise.

You can also just get one of these and run it from the amp to your iPhone but it is harder to control output and volume. You can buy a gain controller to run it this way.
