1969 Dodge Dart GTS

-
My block is at the machine shop and has been boiled. New freeze plugs, cam bearings and my crank is being turned. After that it goes back together a original 70k mile GTS. Stock bore 340 matching numbers.

Dude, didn't even know you still had the ragtop....

I don't have the convertible anymore. I wish. It is in San Francisco though. Some guy bought it 5 years ago. I still think about buying it back one day. Ken, I am not sure on timeline. Just trying to get it back together and running. Lots to do still. Once it is running it will go for body and paint $$$. Ha.

Hey Rob,
Glad to see your back on your dart. Please take your time, it takes a lot of time and money to build one right. Most of us have more time than money, so think it thru and make good decisions and you'll have a sweet ride. I have been working on mine for 8 years now, and although its coming together, it takes a lot of time to weigh out the decisions for the build. i've been out of the loop for a few months and have just recently gotten back into the groove. If theres any thing I can help with, man just ask!
Martin

It's Rob. Ha. Thanks Martin. I have definitely switched directions multiple times. Back on the right path, I think.

So the Dart is over at a buddies house who is going to finish a lot of the work it needs. Belmateo is going to recover my seats for me and help me with rebuilding my engine. It should be running and ready to go to paint very soon. I didn't have the time to work on it so it will done by a guy I really trust. He built this car. I am sure everyone has seen it.

I got new AMD bumpers. They are nice.

Nice to see that AMD makes the bumpers. I can't seem to find anyone close to re-chrome the one straight one I have. How pricey are they?
