Hi all, a 1969 Formula S has just come up for sale close to me. Does anybody know if it should have the hood scoops,or hood inserts? Also should it have a 150 speedo? Thanks, Craig.

Hey Craig, no on both counts, unless it has the "daycor" pkg for the speedo. Daycor is deluxe interior pkg, the front door panels will have map pockets and wood grain. Hood scoops were most often found on the A56 'Cuda pkg, but may have been avail as a seperate option. If its an "S" it definitely has to have A53 on the fendertag and 5th digit has to be a P(340) or H(383) Shoot me an email if I can help with anything else.
