It is repairable, I got various quotes for my 68 and average was $900-1000
 
Someone needs to repop these.....BIG market.....
 
I believe that trim piece is removeable & is not part of the finish panel. In other words, the top & bottom strips are upper dressing pieces for the finish panel between them. I had a 67 Dart GT in my younger years that had some damage to the same piece years ago & a friends father sent me to a local gut who did stainless trim restoration & he straightened my piece out & you could never tell it was dented.
 
That's interesting to see. The panel can be used for the GTS or GT. The rectangular model strip can be replaced.
Yep, the factory ones were universal and only the badge applied was different between the GT and GTS. Repops are made these days for both the GT and GTS insert badge.
