1969 Mexican Spec Dodge Dart GTS - 51022L

Hello Friends

As I live in Mexico I have access to all the special Mexican Spec cars they made. If this one isn't for you I can find you one you will love.

This is a very special car here.

What we have here is a 1969 Mexican Spec Dodge Dart GTS.

Under the hood is a 270 HP 318 V8 mated to a 4 speed manual transmission.

The inserts on the hood call out the 270 H.P. the car has.

To give a bit of background on these cars, 1968 was the first year a V8 was put in a Dodge Dart in Mexico, and it was called the GTS.

This is the second year the car was made with the V8 as all other Darts had the 225 slant 6.

In 1970 the V8 was used in the Duster based Dodge Super Bee.

This car features the same instruments that were used in the 1968 Plymouth Barracuda. These instruments were made in Mexico and it features a trip odometer.

The odometer reads 00,804 kilometers right now. I am sure it has turned over at least once.

The speedometer goes up to 240 kilometers per hour. That is a big number.

This car has no heater, and it came from the factory that way.

Under the hood the engine features air conditioning, headers, Mopar Performance valve covers and air cleaner but has no power steering.

The interior features a woodgrain center console and beige vinyl bucket seats with a matching rear seat.

Not many of these cars were made and they did offer an automatic in some so, to find one of these in this condition with the manual is rare.

The black paint looks great here and the beige vinyl top sets off the dark color.

Please ask for the pictures you want to see if you are interested in this car.

The vehicle delivered to the Nogales border will be $23,550 dollars.

This includes professional transport from southern Mexico to my location then I will trailer it the rest of the way..

If you have any questions about the importation process, I will be happy to answer them.

You can see more Mexican vehicles at mexicanspec.com and if interested please read the Procedure link on my website to learn more.

Cool car. Is the rear end an 8 3/4 or 7 1/4 ?
Manual drum brakes ? Fender tag ?? Any other specs you can share ??
There is no fender tag, Mexico didn't use them.

I am not sure what rear end was used in Mexico but it can't be a 7 1/4 with the 270 HP the engine makes.

I am waiting for a picture of the engine from the front to get to me.

It does have front disc brakes.

I will post the picture as soon as I have it. The car is not where I am at the moment.
