1969 Mexican Spec Plymouth Barracuda 4 Speed - 60413Q
Hello friends
This is a very special car.
Here we have a 1969 Mexican Spec Plymouth Barracuda.
Under the hood is a 270 hp 318 V8 mated to a 4 speed manual transmission.
The engine has had a few upgrades such as the following:
340 Heads With Larger Valves.
Upgraded Cam Shaft.
Double Valve Springs.
Modified Pistons.
More details on the upgrades can be given upon request.
These modifications will boost the horsepower from the stock 270 even higher.
The car comes with its original invoice so you can see where it has been all of its life and how many owners it has had.
It has been completely restored.
Not very many of these Barracudas were made in Mexico.
The Dodge Dart GTS was made right along side of this car and also featured the 270 hp 318 V8.
In 1970, The Super Bee package was used on the Duster to serve as Chrysler's performance car.
The emblems on the front fenders are the 318 badge with the red back ground and the other calls out the 270 h.p. of the engine.
The car is riding on its original steel wheels and dog dish hub caps.
The center of the dog dishes appears to have a Barracuda, making them ultra rare.
The Dart GTS used the same dog dishes but with a Fratzog in the center.
Look closely at the pictures and the smooth paint, you know you can see all the imperfections in a black car, as well as the panel gaps.
This car was born with no heater or air conditioning.
The black vinyl buckets have also been restored. Barracuda script has been added to the seats.
The original steering wheel is also in place and again, with the Barracuda in the horn pad. Where would you find another?
The original radio with the wheels is in place. No cut dash here.
Rally gauges complete the interior.
You would spend 3 times the asking of this car, or more, if you tried to restore one of these to this level.
If you have any questions about this car or the importation process please let me know.
The price of the vehicle delivered to the Nogales border will be $40,825 dollars.
Please ask for the price of the vehicle landed in Jacksonville Florida.
