i just bought a 69 barracuda fastback. this car is a nubers matching engine and trans 340/727 car. it is a real 340 cuda package with the twin scoops on the hood. the car is B5 blue inside and out. it has been repainted once and it is completely faded out. the back seat is perfect and the front 2 seat bottoms are torn. the car is 100% complete. all the chrome trim around the windows is really nice. the rear bumper is straight but needs to be rechromed, the front one is great. there are a few small bubbles of rust in the normal places but the car is very straight. it has power steering and brakes and factory a/c. i found in the glove box all the original paperwork from 69 when it was purchased. i found the buildsheet and it is in perfect condition. the original owner of this car was so meticulous, i have record books that show every service and everytime he put gas in it until he sold it in 1984 to the guy i bought it from. i dont know wether to keep it and restore it or sell it. i guess i am testing the waters. i will try and post pictures soon.

Could it obviously be worth what you just paid for it???

I guess you bought it under market and want to re sell it.

It's a $7K-$12K car. Need pictures.

Someone has a restored 340 'Cuda package dark green 4spd A/C one for around $18K to $20K. The 4 speed is more desirable than the B5 paint.

You would have at least $15K in paint, body, repro parts, rechroming, machanical parts to make your B5 blue one comparable. That said, if you are trying to make a profit the most money you will make is right now without putting any more cash into the car.

There's a very nice low mileage presentable no rust body and interior 68 "S" 4spd fastback running driving that a FABO is considering mid to high teens on.
