[FOR SALE] 1970 340 & 4 Speed

Complete 340 has AC condenser and power steering pump. Has 71 intake and carb. Needs rebuilding. VIN stamping is not complete so must be replacement block. $1700

A body 4 speed, aluminum flywheel, aluminum bell housing, pressure plate with clutch disc, shift rods and shifter. $1700

Don’t know the year of the transmission. I suppose I could check the stamping in the pad.

Located 15 minutes east of marysville California.

It looks like the engine was assembled on November 26, 1969 and was the 117th engine assembled that day.

The FW340..... is not the vin #
F=1970
W=Windsor plant
340= cubic inch displacement
This # is located below the pass side head on the block. Vin # is located on a machined pad on the passenger side of the block just above the oil pan

The stamping along the rail has just 6 numbers.

Was told it was possibly a replacement block/engine.

I would think that is the last six of the vin and yes possibly a warranty replacement ??
