The is a very nice intake. It was cast aside in favor of an Edelbrock aluminum unit. No screwed up holes or anything like that. It has the casting number of 3462848 and is dated 10/20/69.
Any questions please let me know.
$160 shipped to you in the lower 48, Its heavy!

This is a very rare intake and is the only year for an AVS that properly fits all 915 heads. I wouldn't give it away. If I didn't just get one on a 70 parts car I would be on this for my 70 Duster. $150 - $225 is about the going price. Your about at the bottom It should sell give it time. These intakes with 188 valve 915 heads were a perfect choice for a 273 , 318 build up.

Thanks for the info Oldmanmopar.

I took a 1970 340 factory intake off of a guys hands who sold me his original 340 air cleaner assembly. I already had an aluminum LD340 intake that I was going to use once I purchased a 340 to go in the Duster. It's taking me longer than I expected to get a 340 engine

Meanwhile, I have been trying to figure out what to do with the 318 in my car (original 340 is long gone) and I just recently picked up an AVS thinking that it might give the 'teen a better carb than the Eddy.

Maybe I will give the AVS and intake a try if I ever pick up a set of 915 heads.

Oldmanmopar, Thanks for the info indeed. I have sold these intakes before, $200 at least, and thats not including shipping. I figured my price with shipping should move it quickly since no one has money these days. If it doesnt sell by this weekend, I'll put it on the feebay, yuck!

I have a mostly stock 340 with X heads, would this intake work well? if not what should I be looking at?

It will fit any 340/360 head, Ports are to big for 273/318 heads but it will still bolt up.
