Can anyone suggest what has happened?
I have what I believe to be an A727 behind a 225 /6 in a 1970 A100 pickup,
It has had a consistent trans leak for a couple years for which I’ve been able to top off and keep going.
It had been parked for a week without much leak and I had to roll it backwards a few feet without engine running, and in 2 days all the T fluid was on the floor.
What would cause this to dump everything so quickly?

Your leak got worse? Obviously. Find it and fix it. If you can't call the tow truck and haul it off to a shop that can.

I worked on a 67 Mustang that did that. It would leak like a sieve when the torque converter was in the wrong position. Changed the torque converter and it stopped doing it. Never did find where the fluid was leaking out...
