1970 dart dash cluster?

how do you get the dash cluster out ? thank you

Take the screws out and drop the steering column down. Pop the speedo cable and all electrical connection. Some electrical connections are stud/nut connections.

It's tough to remove with the steering column in the normal position.

Disconnect the negitive battery cable ! Set the park brake. If you have column shift , move the shifter down to neutral. Lower the column . Remove screws from panel to cluster. Find the speedo cable entering the firewall and push it toward the instrument panel . The panel should come out far enough to reach behind from drivers side and remove amp gauge terminals, speedo cable and main harness connecter(s). The speedo cable has a clip kinda like one half of a clothes pin. Squeeze it toward the cable sheathe and pull stright away.
