Hmm... before buying it, maybe start the negotiations with something like "I'll tow it off your property for free".
Just sayin', the back end of the car does not look promising.
 
I have to agree that any car that has visible rust on top most likely has hidden rust elsware.

As long as you are not paying too much for it, a few hundred dollars. or can do extensive body work yourself, and I don't mean Bondo, I mean replacing frame rail sections, quarter panels etc.

You might want to keep looking.

I too remember the young guy from boulder who got taken. Just starting out and did not know what to look for.

At least the op is asking before he buys ( I hope)

Maybe all our concerns are unfounded (can't really tell without getting it up on a lift)

I saw a car on Graveyard cars that split in half when they put it on the lift. (I'm sure they did what they could to make it dramatic for TV) but the facts remain, the structure was gone.
