Nice looking car, but as stated earlier, that car is VERY FAR from an original appearance 1970 Plymouth Duster 340.

My older broither was a Chrysler-Plymouth-Dodge salesman at the largest dealership in the Mid-Atlantic area, from 1968 -72 (Bob Banning). We still have the saleman order guide, and all the factory order materials- and most can be found on the Hamtramck website run by Barry (SEE Library link below).

The 1970 car for sale has a full 1971 strip package and a non factory original (V24 was the factory code IIRC) presentation of the 340 Wedge callout decal on the hood.

Even the late production factory 1970 340 Dusters did not come to dealers from the factory in this way, Galen Govier not withstanding.

The car appears to be very nice but a lot of photos with the supporting original factory and dealership documentation (including broadcast sheet, fender tag photo, dealer invoice manifest and shipping advice- just for starters) would go a long way to verify the origins of the car.

See the Hamtramck website - Library link (http://www.hamtramck-historical.com/library.shtml) or the actual factory and dealership documents that were used in 1970.

Must be the air cleaner - valve covers - flex fan - coil on firewall - zip tie on heater hose - exhaust tips and probably alot more unseen
