Greetings from CA. What do you think of the Swinger? It's been 17 years since I last owned a vintage Mopar and I'm really happy to be back in the fold. I thought about getting back into old car the hobby for a long time, and since I am nearing retirement I decided it's now or never.
My family loves Darts and Valiants but I've owned several Mopars. My first car ever was a 1971 340 'Cuda that I bought new after working through high school to earn enough for a down payment. After that came a 69 Roadrunner, another 71 'Cuda, a 70 AAR, two 68 Formula S Barracudas, and finally a 64 Dart.
This one is a 71 model built to 70 Swinger 340 specs. I've done several ground up, factory correct restorations but I wanted to find a completed car that I could enjoy driving. I don't mind maintenance and tinkering but I did not want to spend the next couple of years with a disassembled car in my garage.
I'll give everybody a ride report once we get to know each other a little better.
