Complete rear with leaf springs & shocks went in on Friday. E-brake cables are also installed. Looking for NOS clips to mount to frame. Lucky I have a parts car as I found the bracket to attach the flexible brake hose from the housing to the body steel line fitting! It is pitted pretty good so if someone hasa really nice one on a parts car or just lying around, I would like to purchase. Using my last pair of NOS brake drums!

Is that Brake line bracket the same for any 70+ Abodys with any rear end? Or just ones with 8 3/4s?

All 70-2 A-bodies as that came off my 1971 parts car that was /6 with 7 1/4 rear. No knowledge of other years. Waiting to see if I can find a rust free bracket

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^LMAO, LMAO, LMAO

Damn I needed that AWESOME!!!!!

The plate to protect the fuel tank lines to the evaporator is on! How many 1971 cars still have this! Standard on the 1970 cars with California emissions, also.

Mine still has it. I had completely forgotten about this piece when I stumbled across it on my stash. It took me a little while to figure out what it was and where it went!

It has a couple of sheet metal screws that attach it on the front side and there's a tab on the panel that slides into a slot on the trunk floor pinch weld to hold it in place.
