Upgraded to LED turn signals and tail lights and rewired with a Kwik-wire kit a ‘71 Duster. Got everything working except the turn signals and flashers won’t flash. Installed the 2 prong LED flashers and still no joy. I’m sure I’m missing a thread somewhere on here about it but any help would be greatly appreciated! Also, what in the world is the round doohickey behind the flasher button?

Never played with these. Without a link/ part number/ model/ PHOTO, no idea

There are lots of hits on the www that LEDS need a load resistor to get the flasher to work. First thing I'd do is put a jumper wire across the flasher socket and make certain that they actually work, AKA light up "full time" with no flasher when activated. MAKE SURE you are not screwing with the HAZARD flasher socket

They light up turn signal and flasher full time when activated, just won’t flash.

Swap the wires on the flasher. I had the same issue, the no-load flashers are polarity sensitive. You have to release the wire terminals from the plug maybe.
