Will these floats work on my 4973 1971 TQ? I know the 1971 is a one year deal, but how about floats?

And is this a good rebuild kit? Anyone use Napa?

There is a seller on Ebay named "ninjafuelsystems". That's who I get all my kits and parts from. I THINK the floats are the same, but I am not sure. Email them and ask and see. I can vouch for their kits. They are very high quality and very complete.

Floats are the same.
The way the fuel is metered and how the jets are press in vs. screw in are what generally seperate the 1 year only carb along with its race partner TQ.
