anytime i see painted bumpers i think "cheap flipper"

Same here. I think short cuts made. Macco paint. Walmart spray bomb the rest. I hated the 80s cars test had mono look and tweed

Good grief. If you guys can’t tell a “cheap flipper” with Maaco paint from that car it’s time to hang up the wrenches.
 
Not my style wheels too big, painted bumpers not a fan of these new engines in classic cars either:(:(
 
I don't mind it.

But the black out bumpers are just too much contrast for me from the rest of the car. I get they are trying to match the blacked out trim, grille and shaker. But too much.

I think if the bumpers painted body color it would look better. i can tell the through bolts have been removed and the bumpers are tucked to body. Which looks good when painted.

The grille needs some sort of highlights too. It's too washed out.
