If it has tits, it's a liabilititty.
What do you do when you change out fenders and find there's a bigger gap on one than the other at the door, while still having the hood Grill and everything line up
weld a bit of 1/8 or 3/16 (depends on the gap) round bar to the rear edge of the fenderWhat do you do when you change out fenders and find there's a bigger gap on one than the other at the door, while still having the hood Grill and everything line up
It helped mine when I moved hood closer to cowl , of course you have to fight hood first and get it close and were it shuts and as close to cowl as possible and get that done first , then this allowed me to move fenders back more to help with gap , but I had to flex rear part of lower fender first and secure before securing upper fender bolts front to back , took fenders off several times shimmed as needed or removed shims , I had bad gaps until did all this but best happened when securing nuts on lower part of fender first (leave all other bolts loose) , I used a pry bar off back of tire to push the lower towards door then tighten and this closed the gap better , and then upper rear laid down better to top of door were the one nut is under rear top of fender is located , then I was able to flex rest of fender in towards hood and secure ,What do you do when you change out fenders and find there's a bigger gap on one than the other at the door, while still having the hood Grill and everything line up
I have 3 months to retirement , I hope to get back on it a lot more after that , most work is done , but lots of sanding ahead to get ready for paint , and I suck at paintingWhat a Great build, and Yes Sir, it is time for an update.
