Selling my 1972 Plymouth Valiant project car. $4500

It belonged to a city councilwoman in Bridgeport, CT. Factory undercoated, only has rust in a couple spots, very easily fixed.
This car is basically mechanically new.

It has a 1987 225 slant six with a Comp 220/220 cam. Bored 30 over and has all new gaskets, new oil pump, new flow kooler water pump, head was milled, steel head gasket. Plan was to install a Super Six Intake and carburetor.

Driveline is a 904 with an 8 3/4” 3.23 Sure Grip axle. Brakes are factory power Kelsey Hayes discs with 10”x1.75”’drums in the rear. 340 Torsion bars, Mopar Performance XHD springs in the rear. Factory sway bar. KYB shocks.

New carpet, new trunk mat has had air conditioner box rebuilt and core leak tested. Many new parts, too much to list. Factory A07 “Automatic Transmission Package” car. Has rear defogger. It was supposed to be daily driver but lost interest. It needs to be reassembled and have the cam broken in.

My loss is your gain. $4500 OBO Gurnee, IL 60031

Here is a picture of the trunk. It is all original, but has a new mat and a new spare wheel and tire.

Also, this is an older picture of the under side. It has since had a new gas tank, new stainless, fuel and brake lines, and a new parking brake cable installed. The old axle is in this picture. Not much has changed with the body.
