1973 Canadian Dodge Dart Custom!!

Found a neat website that breaks down the VIN# of my old Dart and found that it was built in Canada! I had no idea that back in the day, Chrysler Automobiles were put together at plants outside the United States! I had noticed the coil had a "Made in Canada" stamp on it! Who'd have thunk it?!

The "AutoPact" was made into law back in 1966...meant cars and parts flowed freely across the Can/US border...parts made in Canada were used on US cars, and vice-versa, as well as cars made here were sold there......

Thanks for the info! Gives me a little something to research! Since tagged and titled November 28th I have logged 1075 miles on my old Dart!! Still makes me smile every time I get behind the wheel!!
