[WANTED] 1973 Dart Sport Fender Brace

Looking for a 1973 dart sport- lower fender brace. Looked through nats and checked out dusters and demons in the show field and could not find a brace that looked like mine. I showed it around in the FABO tent and thought it was hopeless because nobody had seen a brace like mine before.

I went to Heath on Saturday night and a young man had a pink 1973 dart sport with AC and sunroof. I checked his fender and he had the same brace I do. I guess I am not going crazy yet.

I have one but definitely need another. It is 14 and 7/8th"

I will try to post a picture of the one I have.

There are only two styles of Fender Brace, the round one which is by far the most common, and the stamped, flat style which is what they started using in 74. You probably have a very late production 73 which is using the 74 braces. If you want to make your life easy, just use the round ones. I can hook you up with a set if you decide to go that way.

Yes these are correct for all 73 L models. The common round ones part # 2579904 will NOT fit a 73-74 Dart they are only 12 inches long and are for Duster or Scamp. I also have those for $5.00 each if needed

I thought I was going crazy when I could not find them at nats. Thanks for the help and information.
