Hi there, hope everyone is doing well.
Another question I have regarding Duster Disc Brakes.
Are the Disc Brake Caliper Brackets off a 1973 Duster the same as the B/E body caliper brackets? Or am I wrong about that?
The photos below, is the one I’m trying to find one for.
The other photo are ones for sale from a B/E body.
Kind Regards.

The 1973 Duster with disc brakes was originally equipped with sliding caliper disc brakes as were all 1973 - 1976 A-bodies equipped with factory disc brakes. The caliper brackets differ from E-body and B-body caliper brackets.
All E-bodies with disc brakes were the pin type calipers. All 1970 - 1978 B-bodies with disc brakes were also pin type calipers, except some 1978 and all 1979, but their sliding caliper brackets differ due to larger rotors. B-body or E-body pin calipers and associated components, including larger rotors, can be used on A-bodies with some considerations.
For more general information on sliding and pin calipers and brackets of the 1970s and 1980s, see the following.
1973 - 1976 A-bodies equipped with factory disc brakes used sliding calipers with 10.97” one piece rotors and had the 4.5” lug bolt pattern. The caliper brackets for the 10.97” rotors differ side to side. The brackets are marked with numbers: "776", or W6, is the right side and "777", or W7 is the left side. These may also have 23258 instead of 95020 on them. Example: 777 95020A.
1973 - 1974 E-bodies used floating, pin attached, calipers with 10.97” rotors. These E-bodies shared the same one piece rotor and knuckle/spindle as the 1973 - 1976 A-bodies. The pin type caliper brackets for the 10.97" rotors are symmetrical to fit either side with number 90425.
1970 - 1972 E-bodies and B-bodies equipped with factory disc brakes used floating, pin attached, calipers with 10.97” two-piece rotors. These rotors have a smaller inner bearing and a different knuckle/spindle than the 1973 and later models. The pin type caliper brackets for the 10.97" rotors in 1970 applications are asymmetrical with numbers 80034 for the left side and 83525 for the right side. The pin type caliper brackets for the 10.97" rotors in 1971 - 1972 applications are asymmetrical with numbers and 86170 for the left side and 86169 for the right side.
1973 - 1978 B-bodies, except 1978 Charger, Magnum and Cordoba, used floating, pin attached, calipers. Rotor diameter was 10.97” for the 1973 - 1976 B-body with only 1976 models produced until January 1, 1976 and is the same as the 1973 - 1976 A-bodies. Rotor diameter was 11.75” for the 1976 models produced on or after January 1, 1976 through 1978. The number marked for the pin type caliper brackets for the 10.97" rotors is 90425 and fits either side. The number marked for the taller pin type caliper brackets for the 11.75" rotors is 0965 4101 and fits either side. The knuckle/spindle on these models is slightly taller than the 1973 - 1976 A-bodies and 1973 - 1974 E-bodies.
1978 Charger, 1978 - 1979 Magnum and Cordoba, and 1979 - 1981 R-bodies used sliding calipers with 11.75” rotors. The sliding caliper brackets are marked 95020 which also appears on the smaller rotor brackets, but are also marked with 838. The same bracket is used on either side. The knuckle/spindle is the same as the 1973 - 1978 B-bodies.
1976 - 1980 F-bodies, 1977 - 1989 M-bodies, and 1980 -1983 J-bodies used sliding calipers with the same 10.97” one piece rotors as other 1973 - 1976 models. The sliding calipers differ from the 1973 - 1976 A-bodies calipers, but the same caliper brackets were used. The knuckle/spindle is the same as the 1973 - 1979 B-bodies and 1979 - 1981 R-bodies.
1972 D100 and 1973 C-bodies used floating, pin attached, calipers with 11.75” rotors. The caliper brackets are symmetrical to fit either side with number 86152. The calipers, brackets, and knuckle/spindle components are all larger than the A/B/E/F/M/J/R-bodies and will not interchange.
1973 - 1985 D100, 1978 - 1993 D-150, 1974 -1993 AD-100, 1974 - 1980 PD-100, and 1974 - 1978 C-bodies used sliding calipers with 11.75” rotors. The caliper brackets are symmetrical to fit either side with number 95020 also appears on these brackets, with its determinant number of 990, or W10. Example: 990 95020A WN10. B-series vans follow similarly as the truck models. W-series, AW-series, and PW-series trucks follow similarly to the two wheel drive trucks with differences for the four wheel drive parts. The calipers, brackets, and knuckle/spindle components are all larger than the A/B/E/F/M/J/R-bodies and will not interchange.
Earlier A-body, B-body, and C-body used different fixed caliper setups, if equipped with disc brakes, and are not included with the foregoing.
