I recently bought a 1974 Dart Sport so I could add the v-8 frontend and discs to my 1968 dart. Though my dart was manual drum, wondering if I can conver it to power disc with the parts from the Sport. Will the disc prop valve work, can it be modified to fit? Does a 1968 brake booster look diffrent enough than the 1974 version incase I wanted a factory look? Any mods needed to make that booster fit?

any info would be nice.

here are pics of the donor booster.

sure you can, why not

because I don't know if there were diffrent things like booster rod length, firewall mounting, prop valve diffrences etc. Wonder if I can use the stock brake lines or what might be suggested.

boosters are totally different 68 is 8" dia about 6 inches deep 74 and up is 11" but only 2" deep
but yes you can swap them out get the prop valve on frame and put that in to

thank you for the info. Hope it will be a good working unit so I don't have to rebuild it.
