1975 Dart Sport Emblems

I just bought a 1975 dodge dart sport. but the emblem on the front fender says SPECIAL instead of SPORT. it is a /6 4 spd. car other than that there is nothing special about this car. has anyone heard of this? let me know. thanks

Welcome aboard . I have a 76 Dart Sport, up and over the roof stripe. Which part of Canada are you from and name.

according to what i can see 1975 was the 1 and only year for the dart "special". now i have no idea what that is? if i find out i will post back here....

rvds73 i might have some leads on your car. first off does it have any different kind of interior? you know wild 70's colors and stripes? secondly the fender tag, does it have code a62 in it anywhere? let me know what you find......

7demon2. i think i found out why my car has SPECIAL on the fenders, because it was a special ordered car. not sure just something i found on another site. rick v.
