Hello folks,
As the title says I've got a 1975 duster. I've noticed that the windshield wipers stop working in the rain, which is an issue. I was wondering if there's a common area of the harness for a short that causes this (is doubt it) or if anyone can give some pointers on where to start looking. Obviously water is getting into something but this car has so many leaks and rust holes that the problem will probably be difficult to find.

I've got 2 speed and 3 speed switches for sale

Does the motor still turn/run? If so, it might not be the motor but broken wiper arm bushings instead (plastic bushings that connect the wiper arms under the dash).

The problem was actually the motor. After half an hour of searching for shorts in the wiring, I beat the crap out of the motor with a screwdriver and that got it working properly.
