1975 Scamp inside door handle assembly

Hello, I am in need of the inside door handle assembly. When I open the door from the inside, it opens but the handle does not snap back as it should. It's no longer spring loaded, I see the spring but it's moving freely.
I can not tell which part I am missing so I need the assembly. Left Side / Driver's Side.

Would an assembly from a 72 Scamp work? LMK if so. Mike

Thank you for the response, but it would have to be '73 and up. The 72 handle is different. This one is high up on the door, the 72 is lower and different in appearance.
