If you choose the "go big" option on cam I have a mean solid roller and all the parts to go with it I'd like to sell. Custom ground from a 4" stroke motor, .630+"

I'm thinking about pulling out my small and reliable 248/254 cam...something bigger would put me in the low 10's.....decisions decisions.

What's the spec on yours? What do it run? If you don't mind sharing
Its a 73 340 with 587 heads and still has the 1.88 intake valves. Does have the higher compression earlier pistons in it. Put a MP hydraulic .597/288 cam in it, hooker headers, 904 trans rmvb, 3500 10inch coan converter. Holley strip dominator and 650 Holley DP. Runs a red holley electric fuel pump through factory lines. With way too low 4.86 gears it ran 13.6 with no tuning of any kind and it was out of rpm before the 1000ft mark. Putting some 3.91 or 4.10 gears in it, run some new 3/8 fuel line and regulator, hope to get it in the 12's with some tuning. Its my 18 y/o sons first street/strip car, so far we have about $3,200 in it.
