Letting the '79 Aspen go also... Need some money... It is, the custom 2 door model. Blue exterior, blue interior, and painted what top. Needs to be repainted, that is the whole car. As far as I know, it's the original paint. Need tires. This car doesn't currently run, nor do I know what all it needs to run. When I got the car, I pulled it home with a buddy of mine steering it. The brakes work, power brakes... It has front disc brakes, rear drum. The motor is a slant 6 with 1bbl. It is an automatic with column shift. I got the car to get it running, and drive it, amoung other things, this hasn't happened. I am looking to get $700 out of this car. From what I can remember, the glass is fine, motor isn't locked up, and rear end seems to be sound. The people I got the car from, had it sitting up on blocks, and told me that there daughter used to drive it back and fourth, until she got another car, and parked this one. Other than that, I don't really know much about the car. I can get some pic's of the car, but will need to get new batteries b/c my camera love to eat the batteries alive if I don't constantly use it....:???: So, if you've got any questions, lemme know. I know I've posted pic's of it somewhere, but I can look around and see if I can find them....
Here are some web links to pic's:

These are the pic's I could take, before the current batteries went out.... I'm surprised it got this many... The car is sitting like it is in the pic's b/c both front tires are flat, the pass side will pump up, the driver side want, and all tires really need to be replaced for it to be back on the road, but as far as getting it on a trailer, just the driver front tire needs to be replaced. So, any questions?

Update, car is still for sale, now asking $500 obo. I need to get rid of this car, would make someone a nice driver, or perhaps someones high school students first car..... I pulled the motor and tranny from the car to rebuild them, but with all the projects that I have now, I need to get rid of some of them to focus on some of my other projects that I have. I will consider parting the car, will consider selling the car by itself without motor and tranny, and will sell the motor/tranny by itself (but car body will have to sale first). If interested, drop me a line. If this car is not gone by '09, it will be heading to the junk yard, which will probably mean the crusher. If interested, e-mail me @ [email protected] or reply to this post.... I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

Also, I forgot to mention, I have gotten some new parts for this car, some of which are:
New molded carpet from JCWhitney
New motor mounts (both sides)
New spark plug wires
New cap and rotor
New locking gas cap
New ECU
There maybe some other new parts that I got for this car, but these are what I could think of at the moment.......

Yeah, like I had said, I've moved it a little more to toward the front of the yard where I had pulled the motor and tranny. Also, had went and cleaned it up some. The trim for where the vinyl top used to be, I took it off (in trunk) because I was going to just have the car repainted all in one color. Started pulling some of the weatherstripping getting it ready to be replaced. I was going to go ahead and rebuild the brake system, and front end suspension, plus upgrade to the heavier leaf springs (they came on the 360 models) in the rear. The 225 /6 I was going to rebuild, and use as many parts as I could from Clifford Performance... I can still do all this, but, as I said, I just have too many projects for myself, and need to thin the yard a little, not that I have a bunch of stuff in my yard, but I don't want to see stuff sit around and rot.

Hopefully I'll sell this car to someone who will do something with this car versus a junk yard who will scrap/crush it.

It went to a scrap yard I think, last I heard it got stripped down, but ha yet to be crushed. Don't know what's going on with it from there though...
