2.76 behind a 4 speed manual

what rear end is in it? if an 8.75 what chunk? and i wouldn't see that as anything special
 
Stock? Probably. That is a typical ratio for the Hwy. driven car/family sedan. I ran one in my '73 Cuda 4spd for a while when I first toasted my 3.23's. That ratio, along with a well tuned stock engine should grant you 20 MPG's or better.
