2 Barrel Swap ?

Spring is here and I am thinking of swapping a 2 barrel intake and carb I have sitting on the shelf into my 73 Duster with a 3 spd manual trans.

Can I use the same throttle cable that is in the Duster? (original 1 brrl 3 spd manual)

I know that a kickdown is not needed but are the throttle cables the same between 1 brrl and 2 brrl's?

I ordered the intake gasket and will probably do the swap this weekend.

Use the correct shorter throttle cable (ATP #Y-156 or equivalent) for the 2bbl swap. The longer 1bbl cable will tend to bind up if you route it correctly to operate the 2bbl carb.

You'll need the correct cable bracket, choke, and carb though.....

I used an A-body V-8 throttle cable I found on Ebay for cheap. Worked great for me! Good luck!
