2 in spacer

Will a 2 in spacer help my 340 with 474 lift stock heads and 2200 stall and 600 holley and ld4 intake aslo thinksin of changing to air gap

Spacers can be a crap shot sometimes. They generally work like this;

4 hole = More torque
Open spacer = more Horse power.

The open spacer could show a pick up in MPH. I say could because the way it is now could be just fine. The spacer could slow you down. 2 inch is alot.
Give it a shot. Let us know.

adding plenum volume can make air lazy at low rpms and may work better with more converter

depends on street driving to racing ratio. if mainly street driven around 2800 but for the expense may not be worth it to you.Gain will be minimal and i was only stating that to take full advantage of spacer i,d reccomend more.gears could also change engine operating range and avoid a lazy bottom end. everything depends on the total package.
