2 Wings,why? or am I just too old?

I saw a rice burn--, ops, that may not be PC. I saw a front wheel drive sport compact the other day with 2 wings on the back. Front wheel drive and steering so why do you need the extra 10.56 pounds of down force on the back if you can get up to 77.26 mph? Am I too old to understand how this is cool or just too old?

And part joke.

I think it's because he has bald, rear tires. He likely rotated the good ones to the front, against the advice of the tire shop.

Now he needs traction in the corners. All he can get, with all of the under-steer from the FWD.

I want 3 spoilers.

Or maybe just a big bald guy.
