Congrats on your 2000,many more to come I hope.

Sid was 59 sunday, well wait til next year (party time).............but

 What do you mean, wait til next year? I'm taking no chances on missing a good party this year - just in case. :-D

For the past 10 years, the wife and I have thrown a big get together at our place on the Victoria Day long weekend. The first motorhome usually pulls in sometime Thursday afternoon, then the trailers, tents and a couple of my old big rig buddies straggle in either Friday or Saturday. The last unit usually pulls out of the yard sometime late Monday evening. and :drinkers: are pretty much the order of the weekend, along with a wee bit of B.S. - occasionally,,,,,:toothy10::bs:

I'll have to remember to put down the guitar and beer long enough to snap a few photos for you folks this year.

Victoria Day I will have to look that up Sid :read2:.
Is the weather good on Victoria day?.
sounds like a great time to pay you a visit :toothy10:

63 Valiant when I get it, is allready named Victoria.
know everyone know's that I have named my little girl.:toothy10:

Victoria Day is the day we celebrate the Queen of England , (or our Royal heritage), up here Mike. It is always the 3rd Monday in May. For most people that are not into history up here it is just another long weekend that sort of kicks off summer.

thanks Jack, It sounds like a great thing to do for the folks up there.
The Queen of England gives a three day week end. Cool.
I learned something again today

Mike, everybody brings everything from shorts and sandals, to insulated coveralls and snow boots with them, cause you just never know. But, we party on regardless of the weather. :)

Gutiar, you're going to have to learn to type faster. Mike learned to type faster, and look at him now. Almost 6000 posts. :)

Congrats Jack! That's quite a milestone.

Mike: tell em to get you a 35 cal. in a marlin lever action. The use you described will fit the bill. Go to the gun shop and compare the 30-30 and the 35 cal side by side. The 270 is a great gun for speed and long range but then you can also step up to a 7mm mag. From your old buddy up north. What about a 100 miles. Don't forget the car show this weekend.

I second the Marlin lever in .35 Remington. Serious knock down power and you can shoot right through twigs and brush. I used to hunt whitetail with one and it would knock 'em over.

A Marlin in .45-70 will do serious damage but it can knock the shooter over too. :) A .45-70 can be handloaded hot and the Marlin will take it, too. Lot's of room for powder in that big case. ;)

Man, I've been here 4 years and haven't even reached 1,000.

I should quit fooling around and get serious. :)

I have never typed in my life until I found this great site when my brother fixed me up with my first computer it was very hard at first, Then onehellofadart "Tony " set me up with Tiny spell so I could learn how to spell better, Thanks again Tony.
This is about the only site I visit and talk on except Moper-N-More where
Mr twister is building a set of headers that will work on a 170 low block /6
And I am retired and spend a great amount of time at this great site.
OldVart got me on track and kept me from giving up and has been just one of the great folks here that make me feel welcome.

I think I may be a post ***** :toothy7: If it feels good do it :toothy10:
