2008 Hemi Challenger

I just heard this past week at work (chrysler Dealership) that we are bringing back the Challenger. :salut: It is going to be based off of the LX platiform (Charger/300/Maginum) 2 door 6.1 Hemi with a manual 6 speed shifted by the pistol grip shifter!! It looks alot like the 1971 Challenger. Had to post these picks........I cant wait!!

Discussions on some other Mopar-related forums seems to indicate that you may be able to get a Hemi 5.7 or perhaps a 6.1 for around $28,000 U.S.. So fully optioned, it may not even be 1/2 the price of a new Viper! Also, there's a rumor of the 392 (6.4) Hemi being available, if emissions certified! Right now it's just being talked about as a future crate engine. The car itself is suppose to be shown in Detroit (NAIAS - North American International Auto Show) in January.
