I'll have to see it in person. I can data log with the reprogramer in my '05. Out of the first 3 0-60 runs I did my best ( the first one ) time was 7sec. flat. If that's going to be the fastest Ram I guess the SRT-10 will be gone.?

my dad has had a cummings every year since 94, he puts usually puts around 150 plus km on each one...

so i have always compared each one on what they did differently every year...

although this dodge is new and looks good.... i think they should of did something a little more different from the fenders back... still the same truck really

cant decide weather i like it or not, definitly like the new interior but the outside looks alittle too much...."toyota" or something along those lines. I dont know, i think the 08 just looked a little more muscular, still a nice looking new truck.

Seems more like a car tha a truck to me. But I have preconceived notions about what a truck should be like to me, personally. Most of the latest models don't seem very truck-like to me anymore.

I hope that coil rear suspension works out OK in practice. I'll be waiting for that new Diesel before I start thinking about another half ton, probably not any time soon.

I like it, and I'm sure I'll like it even more as time goes on - but I have to agree that it looks a lot like the Toyota. I HATE the Toyota.

You can tell by the styling that they are going after the Toyota and F-150 crowd.

I kinda like it. What i like better is the 380hp hemi. At least this model looks better with the sharp angled headlights. I didnt like when they did that to the current model, i though it looked better with the roundish looking head lights.
Im a sucker for all the promo photo's though, i love all the shots with the ram in the desert.

i agrea with a couple of the other posts i'm going to have to see it in person to make a judgement. as for it looking like the toyota ya i guess it does a little bit, but when you are designing a truck to be some what areodynamic well won't they all start to look close?

I think that the 1992-1993 dodge trucks were about the best looking ever. And you Toyota haters. I want to know how many of you have driven them?? If any of you have. How many have driven the 5.7? I wouldn't bash on them. And also. Toyota Tundras are more American built than any "American" truck. They are all built in Fortworth TX. I am a Mopar man all the way. But since the mid 90's. The company has changed hands more than once. Their quality has went down. Their cars are piles of sh*t (Intrepids, Status, The 3.0!). The cars are Worthless. So what do they have to offer. I loved Dodge and thought I would own nothing els. But the new stuff is junk. I hope the new owners of Dodge/Chrysler can do something about it. I would switchback in a heart beat if they would make something worth a da*n. I know I will get criticised, But I know you all know what is true. Weather you want to believe it or not.

And NO! I do not own a Toyota. I drive a 75 dodge Ramcharger and I LOVE it. Better than any new car. Old cars. Mopar ALL THE WAY!!!!

As for the Tundra. I have driven many of them. They Ride nice. They drive incredible. The 5.7 has SO MUCH POWER. They look good. The Crew Max is HUGE. They are low maintainance. They have some way cool features(As do other companies IE Ford Dodge Chevy). I would recommend driving one before you slam on it.

they are claiming 7sec 0-60's with 380HP... I'm already doing that and her are my mods: K&N cold air intake, Super Chips reprogramer ( No tire spin ), I know I'm not putting out 380 HP where are they getting the numbers? I still have alot i'm going to do to my 5.7... and maybe i'll swap to a 6.1. anyway I'll take on a toy with peddel left.
As far as ride goes it's a TRUCK not an oversized elcamino. I'm all Mopar or no car. the cars being crap..... show us a match for a 300C or srt8, my grandparants '02 Stratus will break loss the tires @ 40MPH... and that's with 3 adults and a child in a car seat.... yeh what a peice. lol

I like it for the most part except for that huge console makes you feel boxed in, and I wish they would go back to a maximum size 16 inch rim. The 2008\s are expensive enough with all these bells and whistles this one is probably even less obtainable. The power will be nice and looks pretty good overall, I too hope it is a better vehicle that some of chrysler's newer stuff!

Exactly right. Although I do think it looks similar to the Toyota - Toyota totaly copied off Dodge in the first place. Look at the Toyota grill; just throw in some crosshair slats, and it's a Dodge grille.

Yeha its ugly, the 94-95 were the beat looking new trucks. Personally I like my 85's (yes I have more then one) they look like a TRUCK. Of course I also love my old Sweptlines too.

No new trucks for me, thankyou.
