I'm not a guru on which ones were used which years. Some had a small hole off to the side for vacuum supply and some did not. I would "assume" that the later models did, but assumin gets me in trouble a lot. I bet @slantsixdan will know for sure which one it takes and can give you a supplier for a good gasket. I tagged him, so maybe he'll let us know.

Part numbers for the carburetor base mounting gasket for a 1984 225 engine with a one barrel carburetor are listed in the following table:

Brand Part Number
Chrysler4071983, supersedes 3698360
Detroit35025
Engine Seal85411
Fel Pro60274, 13-1050
Mahle G25456
McCord66-0143
RolCM55015
Victor ReinzG25456, 711428000
WalkerG966

These gaskets fit 1974 - 1987 applications with the Holley 1945 or 6145 one barrel carburetor. Some gaskets have limiting bushings in the mounting holes. Some, such as the Chrysler 4071983, do not, but it is a layered gasket with a phenolic center and adhered thin gaskets.

Any of these with older production should be good, but with recent production, quality can be uncertain. The safest bet and my personal preference is the Chrysler gasket.
