Has anyone here successfully swapped an irs into there car instead of the 8 3/4 set up.the one in my challenger is in good shape. Would like to see a pic if someone has done it.

Cheers
Mike

You may want to measure the width of each. I think the Challenger setup, as is, is too wide for an A-body. If not, you could modify the A-body frame to accept the suspension cradle of the Challenger, or build a cradle or framework into the A-body that accepts the Challenger rear end / suspension. Since you have the whole Challenger, you could even possibly cut the rear frame/floor pan area out of it and fit it into the A-body.

Just took a look at your Challenger and realized using the rear frame / floor pan area may not be so do-able...

I was pretty sure someone was working on an IRS swap on the board, but I can't remember where I saw it. I think Swiswill was doing one, but with Viper parts, though his car went from a "Dart with Viper parts" to something closer to a "Viper with Dart parts".

Lololol, good description of Will's car! I like that...
