My 76 Dart has some pin holes in the bottom of the firewall and the top of the floorboards. I think it possibly came from a leaking heater core with the jute under the carpet holding the moisture against the floorboards. I may be wrong. But I have a new firewall now should I need it. But I will try to repair what I have already first.

Have been taking tumeric two times a day for the last 4 months. I'm taking it to cut down cholesterol. It does not seem to help with my drainage into my throat. But thanks for that input I'll keep an eye on that.

Went to an ear nose and throat specialist yesterday he says I have a very bad infection. So we'll see if his drugs work any better than anybody else's. And I say anybody else is in that for a year nobody has come up with anything to help me until I went to the emergency room the other day.

I've been sleeping sitting up so that I could continue to breathe through the night.

Damn J. I hope this Dr has the cure for you. Get better soon Bud.

Felt the best today I have in a long long time. No problem breathing outside decided to get some stuff done before the solar panels arrived tomorrow.
So I'm out behind the garage with the skid loader digging at this tree and I uncover a bumble bee hive. There was four or five on each hand stinging away I didn't even realize what was going on. I had gloves on or it would have been worse. I was watching my bucket rather than watching my hands an those little boogers got me good. I got about six stings on each hand an a couple of my stomach.
I kept backing up in the skid loader and they kept following me finally I turned it around and took off around the house. And one of those suckers followed me all the way around the house and started attacking me again.
I guess they're like a bloodhound once they lock onto a scent they stick with it.
Any way other than being stung about a dozen times it was a pretty good day I felt good.

Back in about 1969 when I was in high school I used to get two or three styes on my eyelids at a time. You talk about pain and suffering and in the morning I have to soak my eyes in order to get them open and stuff like that it was a mess.

Any way this went on for months and then one day I got stung by some honey bees and the styes cleared up I never had another one.

Maybe these bumblebee stings will help me out. Give me a boost of energy or something. LOL

I just checked...... I haven't started my 318 Duster since November of last year ! 8 months sitting and counting... :(

I haven't started my Dart in longer than that.
Lol.
If they ever get my breathing problems figured out maybe I'll have mine going sooner than later.

Wow it's been awhile.
Dart still in garage waiting on me to get better.
I did pick up a A&A, RMVB with low band apply last week for it. That took me long enough.lol
Now I need the clip to hold the parking rod on it. Then I can install it and have a complete transmission agin.
Still having shortness of breath but not as bad as it was. Dr has me on lasik so I get to pee alot now. It has knocked off 23 pounds.
Next event I hope to attend is Indy Cylinder Head in march. Not going to set up a swap space just going to find a good deal or 2.
It was 50 here yesterday and today we have 7 inches of snow and it's still coming down. Blasted global warming.

My B&M 10418 converter for the Dart arrived today.
Here soon I'm pulling the engine and transmission back out and swapping some parts out.
I think the 2800-3200 stall will work much better than the stock truck converter in it now.
Feeling better now that I have lost 27 pounds of water. Big differance.

Well it took me 4 days to go up there to Bay City Wisconsin and picked up the 73 dartser or is it a dustart.

Made it back to within 30 Mi of the house and everything but the four-way flashers died. $332 later we have the truck and the trailer towed home and they are now sitting in our yard. The trip is over.

Got to spend time with @318willrun and @Josh owen
Finished our trade that we started in 2019. I forgot to bring him his trophy. Sorry about that Tim.

Im sorry the trip was such a pain, but I appreciated your communication and was pleasure meeting you, hope the car and parts can save many others!

After making this trip I can understand why Tim and Josh are in good physical shape.
Tim lives on a 85° Hill Josh lives on a 60° Hill. Every time they go outside they are exercising.
A trip from the house out to their truck and back Burns approximately 5,000 calories.

I should have brought you over to my farm if you think my house is a fitness program haha! But i.do agree my shop is on a horrible hill

Josh, once they get South of I-80, they get a little soft.....

:poke:

I believe Randall owes 318willrun a couple pizza's and 10 pounds of chili fries for not making the race. of course, his favorite beverage should be included. :D
