does someone know if a fuel pump from a 225 six will function in a 318 ? i just replaced my six with a 318 and the 6 has a brand new pump and the 318 needs one. thank you in advance!

If it's an electric one it will but if it's mechanical, it won't.

unless you change out the pump arms but thats pointless...
and if your bothering to do V8 you gonna want more than 3psi once you start making power lol...

not a slant pump... i had the HV pump and still was only 4psi...

My HV carter put out 6 psi(as per my holley fuel PSI guage),and a stock pump is spec'd at 3.5-5 psi.
